Live Open-Air Human Rights Concert in New York

25 August 2006, Union Square, NY: Free open-air concert drew over 7,000 spectators, spreading the word about human rights with music. Live music mixed with Human Rights Public Service Announcements reached the crowd as thousands of New Yorkers took a moment out of their busy lives to stop, think and learn about human rights and have a great time.

AFHR's artists and supporters drew in thousands of spectators. It was an evening of music, fun, and most importantly, human rights education. Blending the unique power of art and human rights to communicate the importance of the Universal Declaration of Human rights, New Yorkers welcomed the performance.
