The Human Rights Hero Awards 2006
Washington, D.C.  

On May 24 Artists for Human Rights participated in the Human Rights Hero Award event held in Washington, D.C. at the Rayburn Building. The event was held in coordination with the Department of Human Rights of the Church of Scientology International, Youth for Human Rights International and was attended by members of Congress and public. The event bestowed Hero Awards to those individuals who have impacted the lives of others and by their example and persistence brought about greater human rights as a result.
